In a world where people are increasingly isolated, recognizing when you need help and asking for it are difficult tasks. Congratulations on taking the first step toward improving your circumstances, whether that includes working on relationships, pursuing personal goals, addressing your inner dialogue, or all of the above! I believe that individuals are experts on their own lives. My role, as a therapist, is to work with clients to help them recognize their strengths and how they can use those strengths to address the issues they’re facing. Cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and solution focused therapy are effective approaches that resonate with many individuals but, through our work together, we will find the approach that is most effective for you, the individual. Congratulations again on putting yourself first. I look forward to learning more about you and doing great work together.
