You have taken an important first step to improve your emotional health if you are here. We face emotional risks often in our lives, risks that can leave us feeling vulnerable. I believe that there is great strength in availing ourselves of our vulnerabilities. When we increase our resources, we can better manage those emotional risks. Therapy is one of those resources. With the insight and tools learned in sessions, you can better handle issues that you may face. Working together, I will help you build upon your strengths to meet your goal(s).

I am an evidence-based and strength-based provider that utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Mindfulness-Based (MBCT), Positive Psychology, and Motivational Interviewing. Every individual is unique and has differing needs; I tailor my therapeutic approach to meet your needs and personality. I have a strong background in working with diverse populations, including the LGBTQIA+ community, trauma survivors, persons with acute and chronic illness, substance use, and women’s issues. I have been in the human services field since 1997 and understand the value of meeting people where they are at.
