We are all familiar with struggle, moments of stuckness, and times we need a little help. Therapy is a great way to work through these moments while learning, growing, and meeting the goals you have set for yourself. Each person’s experience is dynamic and diverse. My therapeutic approach honors this diversity by being eclectic, person-centered, and evidence-based.

A strong working alliance is integral to a positive therapeutic experience. This is built by creating an open and non-judgmental atmosphere where you can feel safe to share your story and identify the areas where mood, behavior, or past and current experiences are affecting your mental health and personal goals.

My style is informed by cognitive behavioral therapy, including trauma-informed practices, mindfulness, psychodynamic therapy, and narrative therapy. My style is flexible and diverse to meet the needs of each specific client through evidence-based practices.

I am a licensed professional counselor and certified rehabilitation counselor. My education included a focus on mental health counseling, trauma-informed practices, and education surrounding working with people with disabilities. My career has been shaped by the many positions I have held within the counseling field, including Mental Health Interning, Case Managing, Rehabilitation Counseling, Developmental Disability Services, School counseling, child and family counseling, and working with people who are unhoused. I have worked with children and adults who have experienced trauma, families within the foster care system, adults transitioning to work after a disability, and individuals with depression, anxiety, and other severe emotional disorders. This diverse experience has informed my professional development and style allowing for me to be flexible and intentional with my therapeutic style and strategy. I look forward to working with you in your therapeutic journey with One Change Group.
